Description

Responsible for operation of the Hines Tube Bender; must have the knowledge and ability to correctly bend tubes and gear rack for Helix fabrication. This position must master the Hines Bender and have a working knowledge of the free-form tube bender.

• Bend tubes and gear rack for Layout and Fabrication.
• Perform tooling and set-up changes using jib crane.
• Measure all tubes for radius, angle, and correct length.
• Prep gear rack for Fabrication Cells (bend, grind, etc.).
• Must inform Team Leader and /or Production Manager and/or of any barriers to accomplish the goals.
• Must fill out device history records for lifts with proper GDP (Good Documentation Practices).
• Must be trained to the appropriate training matrix Work Instruction and SOPs.
• Reports to Helix Team Leader & Production Manager.
• Be able to work overtime as necessary.
• Other tasks or duties as assigned. Expectation is to add value. If there is downtime, see the Team Leader to have a task assigned.

Requirements

• Experience with operating machinery.
• Experience with tooling (setting and using).
• Ability to read data on tables, perform math to determine angles, etc.
