Machine Operator
Job Summary
The Machine Operator is responsible for setting up, operating, monitoring, and maintaining machinery used in the production process. This role ensures products are manufactured efficiently, safely, and according to quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate production machinery and equipment according to established procedures.
- Set up machines for production runs and adjust settings as needed.
- Monitor machine performance and identify mechanical issues.
- Inspect finished products to ensure they meet quality specifications.
- Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of equipment.
- Maintain accurate production records and documentation.
- Follow all safety policies, procedures, and regulations.
- Report equipment malfunctions, safety concerns, or quality issues to supervisors.
- Assist with troubleshooting and minor machine repairs.
- Keep the work area clean and organized.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous machine operation or manufacturing experience preferred.
- Ability to read and follow work instructions and safety guidelines.
- Basic mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
