Position Summary
We are seeking a reliable and mechanically inclined Machine Operator to join our production team. This role is responsible for operating, monitoring, and maintaining production equipment while ensuring quality standards, workplace safety, and production deadlines are consistently met. The ideal candidate has strong troubleshooting skills, a commitment to quality, and thrives in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate and maintain production equipment, including bindery equipment, guillotine cutters, laminators, MOLL, Horizon Rotary Die MGI, and ABG machines.
- Monitor machine performance and identify equipment malfunctions, troubleshooting minor issues and escalating more complex repairs to the Manufacturing Management team.
- Follow all Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to ensure safe, efficient, and consistent production.
- Accurately report completed production orders using company-approved systems.
- Prioritize work to meet production schedules and customer deadlines.
- Perform routine cleaning and basic maintenance to keep equipment and workstations organized and prepared for the next shift.
- Conduct quality inspections throughout the production process to ensure finished products meet company standards.
- Communicate quality concerns or unresolved production issues to supervisors in a timely manner.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment while adhering to all safety policies and procedures.

- Mechanical aptitude with the ability to operate, troubleshoot, and maintain production equipment.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Excellent problem-solving and time management skills.
- Willingness to learn new equipment and production processes.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds on a regular basis.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and perform repetitive motions throughout the entire shift.
- Comfortable working in a manufacturing production environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- 4+ years of experience operating one or more of the following: bindery equipment, guillotine cutters, laminators, MOLL, Horizon Rotary Die MGI, or ABG production equipment.
- Previous experience in a manufacturing, printing, packaging, or production environment is strongly preferred.
