Machine Operator

Position Summary

We are seeking a Machine Operator to support manufacturing operations by operating production equipment, maintaining quality standards, and ensuring safe and efficient production processes.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in a manufacturing environment, strong attention to detail, and the ability to operate machinery while following safety and quality procedures.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor industrial production equipment
• Set up machines and perform basic adjustments as needed
• Follow work instructions, production schedules, and safety procedures
• Perform routine quality checks to ensure products meet specifications
• Identify and report equipment or product issues
• Perform basic troubleshooting during production
• Maintain a clean and organized workstation
• Support material handling, packing, and general production activities
• Work collaboratively with team members and supervisors

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required
• Manufacturing or production environment experience preferred
• Ability to understand work instructions and production procedures
• Basic understanding of measurements and units
• Mechanical aptitude or hands-on equipment experience
• Strong attention to detail and safety awareness
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 75 lbs

Preferred Qualifications

• 2+ years of machine operation experience
• Experience with machine setup and adjustments
• Experience operating industrial equipment
• Experience with quality inspections and measurement tools
• Forklift, crane, or material handling experience

Work Environment

• Manufacturing and production floor environment
• Exposure to moving machinery and industrial equipment
• Requires standing, walking, and physical activity throughout the shift
• Must follow all safety requirements and use required PPE
