Print & Assistant Print Operator – Flexible Packaging Manufacturer | Pleasant Prairie, WI

Full-Time | 2-2-3 Rotating Schedule | Growth & Training Opportunity | 1st & Night Shifts Available

A rapidly expanding North American flexible packaging manufacturer in Pleasant Prairie, WI is hiring multiple Print Operators and Assistant Print Operators to join their printing department. This facility is in the middle of a $200 million expansion project that will increase production capacity by over 700% by 2027—creating tremendous long-term career growth opportunities for driven, hands-on individuals.

This is an excellent opportunity to get in early, learn on state-of-the-art equipment, and grow into a lead or senior operator role as the site continues to expand.

Positions Available

Print Operator

• Set up and operate flexographic printing presses for flexible packaging products.

• Troubleshoot press performance, ink viscosity, tension, and alignment issues.

• Perform in-process and final quality checks using measurement tools and viscometers.

• Collaborate with teammates to meet production goals and maintain top-quality output.

• Expected to have a “figure-it-out” mindset—basic troubleshooting before calling maintenance.

• Opportunity to grow into a Shift Lead role within a year for top performers.

Assistant Print Operator

• Support print operators in setting up and running presses.

• Load materials, align rolls, prepare inks, and assist with color matching and quality checks.

• Learn press operations and mechanical troubleshooting through hands-on training.

• Ideal for candidates with manufacturing or machine operating experience who are eager to advance.

• Strong performance can lead to promotion to Print Operator within the first year.

What We’re Looking For

• Print Operators: At least 6 months of printing press experience (flexographic preferred; lithographic or rotogravure accepted).

• Assistant Print Operators: 6+ months of general manufacturing or machine operating experience.

• Mechanically inclined individuals with a “roll up your sleeves” attitude.

• Team players with strong attention to detail and a positive mindset.

• Basic computer, math, and measurement tool proficiency.

• Willingness to work a rotating 2-2-3 schedule (every other weekend).

• Ability to train on 1st shift.

Compensation & Schedule

• Print Operator: $27.27–$28.87/hr + $2/hr night shift differential

• Assistant Print Operator: $24.06/hr + $2/hr night shift differential

• Shifts: 6:45 AM–7:00 PM (Days) and 6:45 PM–7:00 AM (Nights)

• Schedule: Rotating 2-2-3 (48 hours one week, 36 hours the next)

• Location: Pleasant Prairie, WI

• Background check and drug screen required
