This position involves performing a variety of task that is involved with making a threaded coupling for the oil and gas industry. The position will be responsible for multiple duties contributing to the overall success of the production process. The pay for the Machine Operator role is $21/hr.
Key responsibilities:
Compensation and Benefits:- Starting pay is $21.00 per hour.
Requirements:- High School Diploma or GED.
Ability to work an industrial schedule consisting of 8-to-12-hour shifts Day and Night shift which include Saturdays, Sundays, and Holidays.
Required overtime work.
Adherence to safety procedures/guidelines. Wearing of Personal Protective Equipment to include hard hat, safety glasses, hearing protection, protective clothing, boots with metatarsal protection, etc.
This position requires punctuality, consistent attendance, and self-direction for the success of the operations.
Physical ability to perform manual labor and repetitively lift in excess of 25 lbs.
Prior experience in manufacturing, industrial, or construction settings.
Familiarity with operating forklifts, use of detailed inspection equipment.
1 year of experience preferred.
Work is performed in a non-climate industrial environment which may involve exposure to varying temperatures, noise levels, and hazardous materials.
Personal protective equipment (PPE) will be provided and is required at all times to ensure safety while performing job duties.
