We are seeking a skilled and motivated Machine Operator to join our dynamic team in Oakdale, MN. Responsibilities
- Operate and monitor machines and other equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Conduct quality inspections to guarantee that products meet specified standards.
- Assist with shipping and receiving processes, ensuring accurate inventory management.
- Handle materials and maintain organization within the warehouse.
- Apply lean manufacturing principles to enhance efficiency and reduce waste.
- Perform mechanical assembly tasks as needed, ensuring precision and quality.
- Manage inventory control, including tracking and documenting stock levels.
- Participate in packaging operations to prepare products for shipment.
- Support general labor tasks as required to maintain a productive work environment.
- Collaborate with maintenance technicians to troubleshoot and resolve equipment issues.
- Contribute to a positive team atmosphere by working closely with production workers and press operators.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Machine Operator or in a similar role within a manufacturing environment.
- Strong background in quality inspection and material handling.
- Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles and practices.
- Mechanical assembly skills with attention to detail.
- Experience in inventory management and control.
- Knowledge of packaging processes and standards.
- Ability to operate CNC machinery is a plus.
- General labor experience with a willingness to learn and adapt.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team setting.
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional certifications in manufacturing or machinery operation are preferred.
