Summary:
Operator will be required to learn all aspects of the tasks that are completed within Heavy Weight Final. Department processes include coating finished product, Make and Break - where joints are assembled and then torqued a part using a controlled machine, and Phosphate spray coating on the connections to help prevent contamination/damage.
Job duties:
- Perform finishing operations on completed product prior to shipment
- Apply coatings to finished product according to company and customer specifications
- Use controlled machinery and torque equipment to assemble and disassemble joints – Make and Break
- Perform phosphate application process to help prevent contamination and maintain product integrity
- Use measurement tools to ensure product is aligned with work order.
- Maintain the work area, tools and equipment in a clean and organized condition
- Follow all safety procedures, operational standards and quality requirement
- Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members regarding production status and operational concerns
- Cross-train and perform multiple departmental functions as required.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide fractions and decimals required
- Previous experience in a manufacturing environment preferred
