Job Overview:

Summary:

Operator will be required to learn all aspects of the tasks that are completed within Heavy Weight Final. Department processes include coating finished product, Make and Break - where joints are assembled and then torqued a part using a controlled machine, and Phosphate spray coating on the connections to help prevent contamination/damage. 

Job duties:

  • Perform finishing operations on completed product prior to shipment
  • Apply coatings to finished product according to company and customer specifications
  • Use controlled machinery and torque equipment to assemble and disassemble joints – Make and Break
  • Perform phosphate application process to help prevent contamination and maintain product integrity
  • Use measurement tools to ensure product is aligned with work order.
  • Maintain the work area, tools and equipment in a clean and organized condition
  • Follow all safety procedures, operational standards and quality requirement
  • Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members regarding production status and operational concerns
  • Cross-train and perform multiple departmental functions as required.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide fractions and decimals required
  • Previous experience in a manufacturing environment preferred

Job requirements

  • Ability to work overtime and shift work as required 
  • ​Standing up to 12 hours daily
  • ​Walking up to 12 hours daily
  • ​Bending/Stooping up to 12 hours daily
  • ​Repetitive Movement (shoveling/sweeping/fastening) up to 12 hours daily
  • ​Lifting weights up to 50 lbs. Regularly
  • ​Push/Pull up to 12 hours daily
  • Work in all outdoor weather/environment conditions
