Job Overview:

We have opportunities on day and afternoon shifts for machine operators at the Timken Aurora Bearing facility.

**On the Job training and Growth opportunity available.**

Pay based on experience starting at $18.50-19/hr

+ $1.50 for 2nd shift

Machine Operators (Assembly, Grinder, Lathe, Mill)

  • Operate and adjust production machinery that may include presses, laser marker, ink jet, electro etch, fit, ovens, swage, bore grinders, drill, mill and roll thread.

  • Check parts for fit, center, stake, stamp and proper marking per the print specifications. This is done through visual and physical inspection as well as use of gauging tools includingmicrometer and calipers.

  • Based on experience may require setting up machine up per machine parameters. Run first piece parts when required and make appropriate adjustments to attain quality characteristics per print specifications and complete necessary paperwork to attain a set-up approval.

  • Load parts as instructed, cycle equipment and check parts at designated intervals and make necessary adjustments.

  • Maintain machine operation including checking fluid levels.

Basic Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED

  • Ability to read and understand blueprints

  • Prior manufacturing and machine operating experience preferred

  • Experience with gages and micrometers a plus

  • 1st shift hours are Monday - Friday from 7:00am - 3:30pm and 2nd shift hours are 3:30pm - 12:00am.
