Job Responsibilities :

We are seeking an entry level machine operator. This candidate would be operating high speed automated pharmaceutical manufacturing line(s) with strong support staff. Set up a wide range of equipment, including tablet presses and packager production line. Perform in-process testing and independently complete the required paperwork. Responsible for the efficient production of a high quality product.

Job Duties:

• Daily operation of high speed automated production line.

• Perform set-up of above machines as needed and make necessary adjustments during operation.

• Troubleshoot and assist maintenance personnel in repairs of machines and equipment.

• Clean and perform preventative maintenance of equipment according to written SOP’s.

• Perform in-process testing as needed to ensure product quality is within established limits.

• Take ownership and be accountable for the quality of all work produced.

• Transport of bulk powders and packaging materials from warehouse to production area.

• Complete necessary paperwork accurately and timely, which includes, but is not limited to, batch records and equipment usage logs.

• Maintain a clean and orderly work area; promote safe working conditions.

• Perform all work in accordance with established Safety, Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP) and Company Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).

• Work as a team member; be cooperative with all departments and staff to meet company objectives.

• Perform other duties as assigned.

Skills and Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent

• Strong mechanical aptitude with ability to troubleshoot and problem solve

• Ability to read and follow directions, complete paperwork and communicate effectively in English

• Basic math skills

• Ability to concentrate and focus on task under stressful and/or distracting conditions

• Strong team player; good interpersonal skills

• Self starter with a high level of motivation

• Ability and willingness to learn and adapt to changes.

• Must be able to wear required PPE: safety glasses, safety shoes, hearing protection, dust mask as needed

• Repetitive use of both hands; occasional reaching

• Lifting up to 50 pounds occasionally; push/pull up to 200lbs with hand pallet jack

• Wear sanitary gear such as hairnet, beard guard and gloves

• The ability to stand for 8+ hours a day
