Job Title: Machine Operator

**Location: Mebane, NC 27302

Job Type: Contract

Duration: 12 months (possible extension)

Pay Rate: $21.00/hour on W2

Schedule: Sunday–Thursday, 11:00 PM – 7:30 AM (Night Shift)

Overtime: May be required**

Job Overview

The Machine Operator supports manufacturing operations by operating production equipment, feeding raw materials into production lines, packaging kits, and performing basic quality inspections. The role involves following established Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), maintaining accurate documentation, and adhering to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and workplace safety guidelines.

Key Responsibilities

• Manually package kits and perform routine cleaning activities.
• Inspect and test parts to ensure quality standards are met during production.
• Pull raw materials for orders and feed materials into production lines.
• Identify and clear common machine faults.
• Perform basic machine setup, startup, shutdown, and adjustments.
• Complete production paperwork accurately and follow established procedures.
• Follow GMP requirements, housekeeping policies, and safety procedures.
• Assist with training other employees and provide input on SOP improvements.
• Perform other duties as assigned and work overtime when required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 1 year of manufacturing experience.
• Ability to stand for extended periods, lift up to 40 lbs, and perform repetitive tasks.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work effectively in a team.
• Ability to read, write, follow simple diagrams, interpret charts, and perform basic arithmetic in English.
• Basic computer skills, including familiarity with Windows.
• Ability to follow written procedures, recognize deviations from specifications, and maintain accurate records.
