Job Overview:

Shift Schedules

Monday to Friday, 11pm–7am ($.75 shift differential added)

  • We are hiring Machine Operators to set up, operate, and maintain tooling for casting line equipment, cutoff machines, automatic loaders, CNC lines, and robotics. This role includes production reporting, inspection, packaging, shipping, and material handling while working with molten metal and alloys. Operators will learn to safely use advanced machinery such as casting machines, shot blast equipment, CNC lathes, Fanuc robotics, and forklifts, as well as read blueprints and perform preventive maintenance. Strong safety awareness, reliability, and teamwork are essential, as the position involves working in dynamic environments with changing conditions.

    Once you complete 60 working days through Express, you will roll onto the company’s payroll with eligibility for union benefits.

    Responsibilities and Duties

    • Setup, operate, and maintain tooling for casting line equipment, cutoff machines, automatic loaders, and CNC lines
    • Perform production support activities including reporting, inspection, packaging, shipping, and material handling
    • Use tooling and gaging equipment to meet product specifications and requirements
    • Safely operate machines such as casting machines, shot blast equipment, CNC lathes, Fanuc robotics, forklifts, and precision measuring tools
    • Work with molten metal, cast iron sleeves, and other alloys
    • Conduct furnace operations including monitoring, preventative maintenance, crane work, and melt deck operations
    • Read and interpret blueprints and drawings accurately
    • Perform preventive maintenance and general housekeeping of machines and work areas
    • Complete required paperwork, reports, and tags thoroughly and accurately
    • Receive and pass fit‑test training for respirators/PAPR’s
    • Maintain and promote a strong safety culture, following all policies and procedures
    • Identify and communicate workplace hazards, correcting or reporting unsafe conditions
    • Work in environments that may be noisy, dusty, oily, or have fluctuating temperatures
    • Perform other duties as assigned by supervisors or management

    Skills and Qualifications

    • Stand/Walk for extended periods
    • Lift 3 lbs. continuously and up to 50 lbs. occasionally
    • Push/Pull/Bend frequently; Reach occasionally above shoulder height
    • Work in dusty environments with fluctuating warm/hot temperatures
    • Obtain Fork Truck Certification within 90 days of employment
    • Pass Fit-Test & Wear PPE for assigned tasks
