Position Summary
We are seeking experienced and motivated Machine Operators to join our manufacturing team in Hamilton, Ohio. Machine Operators are responsible for setting up, operating, monitoring, and troubleshooting production equipment while ensuring products meet quality and safety standards.
Available Positions & Shifts
Night Shift
- Compounder Operator: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
- Coater Operator (2 Openings): 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
- Slitter Operator: 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM
- Slitter Operator: 11:00 PM – 7:00 AM
Day Shift
- Coater Operator: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
Shift assignments may include weekends, holidays, overtime, and shift differential pay, based on business needs.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Operate coating, slitting, compounding, and other production equipment according to established operating procedures.
- Set up machinery for production runs by loading materials, adjusting machine settings, and verifying product specifications.
- Monitor equipment performance and make process adjustments to maintain production efficiency and product quality.
- Perform routine quality inspections to ensure finished products meet customer, company, and regulatory standards.
- Troubleshoot equipment issues and communicate maintenance needs promptly to minimize downtime.
- Complete basic preventive maintenance, machine cleaning, and routine equipment inspections.
- Accurately complete production reports, quality documentation, and inventory records.
- Follow all safety policies, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment using 5S principles.
- Assist with material handling, machine changeovers, and production line startups and shutdowns.
- Collaborate with production, quality, and maintenance teams to achieve daily production goals.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives to increase productivity, reduce waste, and improve operational efficiency.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Previous manufacturing or machine operating experience preferred.
- Experience in packaging, coating, slitting, compounding, or similar production environments is a plus.
- Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to troubleshoot manufacturing equipment.
- Ability to read work instructions, production schedules, and quality specifications.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality products.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Willingness to work assigned shifts, overtime, and weekends as needed.

Physical Requirements

- Wear required personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times.
