Machine Operator

Job Summary

We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Machine Operator to join our production team. The ideal candidate will have experience operating manufacturing equipment, maintaining quality standards, and working in a fast-paced environment. This position requires a strong work ethic, attention to safety, and the ability to perform physical tasks throughout the shift.

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and monitor production machinery according to work instructions.
• Inspect finished products to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications.
• Perform routine machine adjustments and report equipment malfunctions to maintenance.
• Load raw materials and remove finished products from machines.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
• Accurately complete production documentation and records.
• Follow all company safety policies and standard operating procedures.
• Work collaboratively with team members and supervisors to meet production goals.

Required Qualifications

• 1–2 years of machine operating experience in a manufacturing or production environment.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds on a regular basis.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and perform repetitive tasks throughout the shift.
• Basic mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work.
• Ability to read and follow written instructions and work orders.
• Reliable attendance and punctuality.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in a manufacturing or production facility.
• Ability to use measuring tools and perform basic quality inspections.
• Forklift experience is a plus (not required).

Physical Requirements

• Lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
• Stand for extended periods.
• Frequently bend, reach, twist, and perform repetitive motions.
• Work in a manufacturing environment with exposure to noise and moving machinery.
