Machine Operator – Job Description

Seeking a motivated and mechanically inclined Machine Operator to operate and maintain production equipment while ensuring quality, safety, and efficiency. This role is responsible for running various machinery, troubleshooting equipment issues, following SOPs, monitoring workflow, and maintaining production standards. The ideal candidate has experience operating manufacturing equipment, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to learn new processes quickly.

Responsibilities:

• Operate and maintain production machinery including bindery equipment, guillotine cutters, laminators, MOLL, Horizon Rotary Die, MGI, and ABG equipment
• Troubleshoot equipment issues and communicate problems to the Manufacturing Management team
• Follow company SOPs to ensure safe operations and consistent product quality
• Track completed orders and update production systems accurately
• Prioritize tasks to meet production schedules and deadlines
• Perform quality checks and ensure finished work meets company standards
• Maintain a clean, organized workstation and replenish materials for the next shift
• Work safely while standing for extended periods and lifting up to 50 lbs

Qualifications:

• Experience operating manufacturing or production machinery preferred
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
• Ability to learn and adapt to new equipment and processes
• Detail-oriented with a commitment to quality and safety
• 4+ years of experience operating production equipment such as bindery machines, cutters, laminators, MOLL, Horizon Rotary Die, MGI, or ABG is a plus
• Reliable, motivated, and able to work in a fast-paced production environment
