Job Description

Hood Container Corporation is looking for skilled Machine Operators to join our team.  The ideal candidate will have previous manufacturing experience with machine operation and set-up experience, strong mechanical ability, desire to learn, computer skills, proficient math and problem-solving skills and excellent communication skills.

 

 Responsibilities and/or Qualifications: 

• Set up, adjust, and run flexo folder gluer presses and ancillary equipment for production runs.   
• Perform preventive maintenance to ensure its optimum operation.
• Troubleshoot issues and submit requests for maintenance repairs as needed.
• Interpret job order information, specs, and requirements.
• Ensures all machine set-ups are done correctly. 
• Directs crew’s activities to ensure efficient production.
• Maintains accurate records of production, waste, production time, preventive maintenance etc.
• Ensures that production goals are met or exceeded.
• Monitor Quality
• Performs various other job duties and projects as assigned.

Three or more years’ experience as an operator in production manufacturing.  Proven experience as an effective communicator and problem solver.
