Job Title: Machine Operator

Location: Canaan, CT 06018

Contract Duration: 12 months (possible extension / FTE)

Pay Rate: $26+/hr + 10% shift differential = $28.60/hr on W2

Work Environment: Manufacturing / Production

Training & Shift Details

• The regular shift is 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM.
• It will be an alternating shift. Mon/Tue/Fri/Sat/Sun/Wed/Fri. Every two weeks
• Candidates will be required to train on the day shift for approximately 3 months before moving to the night shift.

Job Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Manufacturing experience is required.
• Prior industrial experience is required.
• Must be able to read and write English.
• Must be able to read, understand, and interpret written instructions/specifications in English.
• Must be able to perform basic math calculations.
• Must be dependable and punctual.
• Must be able to work effectively in a team environment.
• Must be willing to rotate between different tasks and responsibilities.
• Must be able to work flexible or extended hours when required.
• Candidates should live within 45 minutes of the worksite.

Job Responsibilities

• Perform routine production and machine operations under general supervision.
• Perform tasks such as:
• Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs).
• Maintain accurate production records and logs.
• Follow FDA, GMP, and ISO 9000 requirements.
• Work as part of a team to meet production goals.
• Make routine decisions related to assigned tasks.
• Develop skills in basic production processes and procedures.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and compliant work area.
• Rotate into different tasks as needed.
