Job Description

We are currently seeking hands-on Machine Operators to run paper converting machines and undertake responsibility for quality assurance of the products manufactured. This position plays a vital role in the success of the company through timely order completion, order quality, and achieving team targets.

Schedule

We have positions available on both 1st and 2nd shift. Shifts are 10 hours long Monday-Thursday. Fridays and Saturdays are bonus production days when needed, and present an opportunity to earn overtime through 8 hour shifts.

• 1st shift - 7:00AM - 5:30PM
• 2nd shift - 5:15PM - 3:45AM

Duties

• Hands-on machine operation
• Leading the line team
• Assisting other team members as needed on the line
• Assisting Maintenance with equipment set up, changeovers and adjustments, and routine maintenance.
• Testing quality of products
• Becoming fully cross-trained and demonstrating proficiency on multiple machine

Qualifications

• 2 years of manufacturing experience required
• 1 year of experience in machine operation
• Ability to take simple measurements using rulers and measuring tapes
• Ability to read and write in english
• Must demonstrate mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting/problem-solving skills
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Maintain strict adherence to health and safety regulations

Physical¨NBSP;Requirements

• Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
• Must be able to stand for long periods
• Occasional bending, kneeling, or entry into enclosed spaces
