Machine OperatorLocation: Avon, CTSchedule:1st Shift: 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM2nd Shift: 2:00 PM – 10:30 PMPay: $20.00–$26.00 per hourPosition OverviewWe are seeking dependable and motivated Machine Operators to join a fast-paced manufacturing team. This position is responsible for operating production equipment, monitoring product quality, and ensuring materials are produced safely and efficiently. The ideal candidate is mechanically inclined, detail-oriented, and committed to maintaining a clean and organized work environment.ResponsibilitiesOperate and monitor manufacturing equipment according to established procedures.Perform machine setup, adjustments, and changeovers as needed.Inspect finished products to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications.Load raw materials and remove finished materials from production equipment.Accurately complete production and quality documentation.Identify equipment issues and communicate maintenance needs promptly.Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.Follow all company safety policies and standard operating procedures.Work collaboratively with production, quality, and maintenance teams to meet production goals.QualificationsPrevious machine operating or manufacturing experience preferred.Mechanical aptitude and the ability to troubleshoot basic equipment issues.Ability to read work instructions and accurately complete production paperwork.Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality products.Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds as needed.Reliable attendance and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.High school diploma or GED preferred.Preferred SkillsExperience operating automated or semi-automated production equipment.Knowledge of quality inspection processes and measuring tools.Forklift experience is a plus.Experience working in a manufacturing or industrial environment.BenefitsCompetitive hourly pay based on experienceOpportunities for overtimeHealth, dental, and vision insurance401(k)Paid time off and holidaysCareer growth and advancement opportunitiesOn-the-job training provided
