Description and Qualifications

Ryobi is looking for experienced Industrial Maintenance Techs for our Machine Maintenance Team.

Rates are between $23.50 and $35.50per hour, based upon experience, plus and additonal $1/hour for working  2nd or 3rd shift. These positions are on an off-shift and although they will train on 1st, the position will move to either 2nd or 3rd shift. 

Our Machine Maintenance Technicians are tasked with maintaining a selection of our 43 high-pressure die-cast machines, ranging from 800-ton to 3,500-ton lock-up force, auxiliary and secondary equipment such as industrial robotic, hydraulic trim machines, leak test, shot blast, conveyor transfer as well as gas-fired melting furnaces. This is a multi-craft environment so you will need to be skilled in electrical controls, mechanical, hydraulic, welding & general fabrication.

What will you do?

  • Break Down repairs (Troubleshoot and recover production equipment).
  • Conduct preventive maintenance (PMs) on assigned machines and equipment.
  • Assigned project work. (Upgrades, Improvements, & Scheduled repairs)
  • Assure that machines and equipment are kept in a safe operating condition.
  • Make emergency repairs as safely and quickly as possible to maximize machine and equipment availability to production.
  • CMMS data entry. (Maintains the record of all PM and work orders).
  • Assist operators and other key personnel (as specified) with training to better operate and maintain their own equipment, within the scope of their responsibility.
  • Provide backup programming as required.
