We are seeking a skilled and dependable Machine Maintenance Technician. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing routine and preventive maintenance, troubleshooting mechanical and electrical issues, and ensuring that all production machinery and equipment operate safely and efficiently.
Perform scheduled preventive maintenance on metal fabrication equipment such as presses, CNC machines, welders, shears, and conveyors.
Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
Diagnose malfunctions using technical manuals, schematics, and diagnostic tools.
Replace or repair defective parts including bearings, motors, pumps, valves, belts, and sensors.
Calibrate, align, and adjust machines to maintain production quality and efficiency.
Maintain accurate records of maintenance performed, parts used, and equipment history.
Respond promptly to breakdowns to minimize production downtime.
Work closely with production teams to identify equipment issues and plan repairs.
Assist in equipment installation, relocation, and setup as needed.
Follow all company safety procedures and OSHA regulations.
Maintain a clean and organized maintenance area and ensure proper storage of tools and parts.
High school diploma or equivalent; technical certificate or associate degree preferred.
2+ years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing or metal fabrication environment.
Strong mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic troubleshooting skills.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.
Familiarity with PLCs, welding equipment, and CNC machinery a plus.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
Willingness to work overtime or weekends as needed.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform hands-on mechanical tasks.
Standing, walking, bending, and climbing for extended periods.
Exposure to noise, heat, and industrial environments with proper PPE provided.
You should be proficient in:
