Machine Maintenance Technician (Packaging Equipment)

💲 Pay: $26-27Hr

Job Overview

We are looking for a reliable Machine Maintenance Technician to support and maintain packaging equipment in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role focuses on keeping machines running efficiently through preventative maintenance and quick troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on packaging machines
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic issues
• Repair and replace components such as motors, belts, sensors, and valves
• Respond to equipment breakdowns and minimize downtime
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and manuals
• Complete work orders and document repairs
• Work closely with production to keep equipment running smoothly
• Follow all safety procedures including lockout/tagout

Qualifications

• 2+ years of maintenance experience in manufacturing or packaging
• Experience working on packaging equipment or similar machinery
• Basic knowledge of electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic systems
• Ability to troubleshoot and solve problems quickly
• Comfortable using hand and power tools
• PLC troubleshooting experience is a plus
