We are seeking a talented and driven Machine Maintenance Mechanic to join our team. The Machine Maintenance Mechanic will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our production machinery by performing repairs, troubleshooting, and preventive maintenance. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in production manufacturing, mechanical systems, and electromechanical troubleshooting.

About the Role

As a Machine Maintenance Mechanic at Oliver Inc., you will:

• Perform troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance of production machinery, equipment, and components.
• Fabricate parts using equipment such as lathes and milling machines as needed for emergency repairs.
• Conduct electrical and electromechanical troubleshooting to identify and resolve issues.
• Repair and replace defective machine components, ensuring minimal downtime.
• Collaborate with the Facilities Manager and production team to address machine breakdowns efficiently.
• Perform welding tasks when necessary to support repair efforts (preferred but not required).
• Maintain records of maintenance activities and repairs.
• Adhere to company safety standards and practices during all maintenance operations.

About You:

You are a great fit for the Machine Maintenance Mechanic role if your background includes:

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical certifications or vocational training in mechanical or electrical systems preferred.
• 3+ years of experience maintaining and repairing production machinery in a manufacturing setting.
• Proficiency in mechanical troubleshooting and repair techniques.
• Experience with electrical and electromechanical systems troubleshooting.
• Skilled in operating lathes, milling machines, and other fabrication tools.
• Welding experience is a plus.
• Plumbing experience is a plus.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced production environment.
