Maglio Companies wants to add a Machine Builder-Fabricator to our team. No two days will be the same but the following items will make up the responsibilities of the role:

  • Machine Fabrication: Fabricate, weld, and assemble components to construct custom machinery and modify machinery used in the produce industry. This includes working from blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications to create reliable and efficient equipment.
  • Machine Assembly: Assemble mechanical and electrical components to build complex machines, ensuring precision and attention to detail to guarantee the machines' functionality and reliability.
  • Troubleshooting and Maintenance: Diagnose and repair equipment malfunctions promptly, minimizing downtime for our clients. Regularly conduct maintenance to ensure machines operate at peak performance.
  • Quality Control: Inspect finished machines to ensure they meet quality and safety standards, making any necessary adjustments or modifications as needed.
  • Utilities & Facility: Familiar with refrigeration, fire suppression, electrical, boilers, and structural (roofs/floors)
  • Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety guidelines and protocols, ensuring a safe working environment for yourself and your colleagues.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate records of work, including project progress, materials used, and any modifications made to equipment.
  • Training: Provide training and support to Operators clients on the proper use and maintenance of the machinery.




Requirements

  • Proven experience in machine fabrication, welding, and assembly, particularly in the context of custom machinery.
  • Experience in stainless steel welding
  • Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings, blueprints, and schematics.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues.
  • Familiarity with tools, equipment, and materials commonly used in machine building and fabrication.
  • Strong attention to detail, precision, and commitment to quality.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, communicating effectively with engineers and colleagues.
  • Knowledge of safety procedures and a commitment to maintaining a safe working environment.
