Description
Compensation: $18.50 -$22.00 per hour, based on experience.
Machine Builders (Precision Assemblers) , under general supervision, assemble and adjust subassemblies and full machines to exacting tolerances through the use of engineering drawings and ISO work instructions. The tasks include mechanical, optical, electrical, and software/computer operations. The role requires mechanical aptitude in precise assembly. Successful team members are those who come to the job with a work ethic to maintain high levels of quality and craftsmanship.
The machine builder role could have transferrable skills in roles such as a mechanic, journeyman, or mechanical technician.
Responsibilities:
· Assembles and adjusts a variety of subassemblies and major assemblies, under general supervision of team leads and supervisors.
· Responsible for assembling basic to complex-level assemblies, including slides and rails.
· Replies on prints, work instructions, experience, and repetition to accomplish results.
· Inspects and tests work to ensure accuracy and quality.

· Ability to lift and carry heavy machinery parts weighing up to 50 pounds without assistance.
· Proficient manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination for precise assembly work.
· Stamina to stand for extended periods (full workday of 8 hours) during assembly processes.
· Capacity to operate power tools and equipment safely.
