Rogers Group is currently seeking an individual to fill a position as a LUBE TECHNICIAN SERVICER/MAINTENANCEMECHANIC based out of the Columbia Quarry in Columbia, TN, who will perform routine servicing and light maintenance/repairs on a wide variety of quarry and mining equipment. Throughout the Southern Middle Tennessee area. Locations serviced include aggregate sites in Burns, Bon Aqua, Columbia, Lawrenceburg, Lewisburg, Linden, Pottsville, and Pulaski.

Day Shift (some weekend work may be required)
Location: Southern Middle TN
Wages starting at $25/hr. Higher pay for skilled mechanics and lube technicians with mining and heavy equipment experience. Overtime available and extensive medical and retirement benefits.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Uncompromising focus on safety excellence and able to perform all duties under company safety policies and practices.
- Minimum of three years of experience working on equipment.
- Ability to change oil, change filters, take oil samples, complete sample documentation, and submit for analysis.
- Ability plan maintenance in a coordinated method that doesn’t interfere with production schedule.
- Inspect machines for abnormalities or defects.
- Perform routine scheduled maintenance on mining and quarry equipment.
- Complete maintenance and work order repair records.
- Assist Heavy Equipment Mechanic with larger maintenance projects and repairs as needed
- Heavy equipment parts familiarization including parts catalogs, procurement, handling, storage, and cost of heavy equipment parts.
- Perform housekeeping duties and work area checks.
- Operate a company vehicle on public highways and job sites.
- Capable of working with limited supervision and scheduling own work.
- Weekend work/overtime may be required.
- Ability to stoop, push, kneel, twist and lift 70lbs.
- Ability to climb and perform work on heights of 20 feet
- Able to work in all kinds of weather conditions.
- Able to develop working relationships with other employees and vendors.
- Must have a valid DOT health card or be able to obtain.
