2nd Shift - M-F 3:30p-12a

 

Principal Objective of Position:                                                                                                     

The Supervisor oversees the workflow in their department. They are responsible for coaching, resolving issues, and serving as a link between subordinates and upper management.

  • Communicate vital information in front of large groups
  • Pass on information from upper management to employees and vice versa
  • Set goals for performance and deadlines in way that comply with company’s plans and vision and communicate them to subordinates
  • Ensure 5S standards are established and being followed
  • Organize workflow and ensure that employees understand their duties or delegated tasks
  • Keep all employees safe and trained to be compliant with safety procedures
  • Monitor employee productivity and provide constructive feedback and coaching
  • Receive complaints and resolve problems
  • Prepare and submit performance reports
  • Give input on rewards and promotions based on performance
  • Ensure adherence to legal and company policies and procedures and undertake disciplinary actions if the need arises

Other Responsibilities:                                                                                                                    

  • Work towards continuous improvement through lean practices
  • Hire and train new employees

Qualifications


Education and Experience Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree (BS/BA) in business administration, management or related fields, preferred
  • Three or more years of supervision or leadership experience

 

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required:                                                                                  

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)
  • Excellent interpersonal and supervisory skills

Work Environment:                                                                                                                          

This position is typically located in a warehouse setting. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets, and fax machines. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally exposed to moving mechanical parts and vibrations. The noise level in the work environment can be loud.
