Overview
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Low Voltage Service Technician to join our team in Appleton, WI. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting low voltage systems, including security, fire alarm, and communication systems. Responsibilities
- Install and configure low voltage systems, including security cameras, alarm systems, and intercoms.
- Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on existing systems to ensure optimal performance.
- Conduct site assessments to determine the best installation practices and system requirements.
- Collaborate with clients to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions.
- Document all service calls, installations, and repairs accurately and in a timely manner.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in low voltage technology.
- Adhere to safety protocols and ensure compliance with local regulations.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree or certification in low voltage systems preferred.
- Proven experience as a Low Voltage Technician or similar role.
- Strong understanding of low voltage systems, including wiring, installation, and troubleshooting.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Strong communication skills and a customer-focused attitude.
