JOB SUMMARY: 

The Logistics Team Member will be responsible for loading and unloading trucks, receiving, and unpacking parcels, completing relevant documentation, and dispatching stock. They will also record and report inventories and pay close attention to the movement of stock to avoid losses.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:  

These duties are not meant to be all-inclusive and other duties may be assigned.

• Reads work order or follows oral instructions to ascertain materials.
• Perform receiving and shipping procedures.
• Loads and unloads materials onto or from pallets, trays, racks, and shelves by hand and or motorized equipment such as forklift and electric pallet jacks.
• Loads materials into and out of vehicles and installs strapping, bracing, or padding to prevent shifting or damage in transit.
• Conveys materials from storage or work sites to designated area.
• Counts, weighs, and records number of units of materials moved or handled within an ERP system by means of scanner and or computer.
• Attaches identifying tags or labels to materials or marks information on cases, bales, or other containers.
• Stacks or assembles materials onto pallets.
• Lifts heavy objects by hand, cleans work area, machines, and equipment.
• Assist numerous company personnel from other departments; Sales Support, Company Store, Packaging and Processing.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• High School diploma or general education degree (GED)
• Computer Skills- to perform this job successfully, an individual should have basic knowledge of Scanner and ERP System, Spreadsheet Software and Word Processing Software.
•  Experience with fork trucks or pallet jacks desired.
• Commercial Driver License CDL preferred.
