Raytheon is seeking a Logistics Manager to lead shipping, receiving, warehousing, and material flow operations across the Farmington site. This leader will oversee day‑to‑day logistics execution, develop high‑performing teams, and ensure safe, compliant, and efficient movement of materials in support of factory operations and program schedules. The ideal candidate is a strong communicator, a collaborative partner, and an energized change agent who can work independently, solve problems proactively, and drive continuous improvement.

This position is located at the Raytheon Dine Facility in Farmington, NM. RTX Dine Facility adheres to the Navajo Nation Preference in Employment Act in areas of recruitment and hiring practices.

What You Will Do

  • Lead and develop a team supporting shipping, receiving, warehousing, and material movement activities across multiple programs and production areas.
  • Ensure timely and accurate processing of inbound and outbound materials—both physically and within logistics/MRP systems.
  • Partner with Production, Quality, Engineering, Supply Chain, and Security to ensure seamless material support for factory schedules and customer commitments.
  • Maintain accountability of all materials through accurate receiving, inventory transactions, cycle counts, and discrepancy resolution.
  • Oversee warehouse layout, material flow, and staging areas to improve efficiency, reduce bottlenecks, and support increased production rates.
  • Ensure strict compliance with hazardous materials handling requirements and all regulatory standards (DOT, OSHA, 49 CFR, IATA, AFMAN, DoD regulations, and RTX safety guidelines).
  • Monitor logistics performance metrics and drive continuous improvement initiatives to achieve operational targets.
  • Elevate team capability through coaching, career development, cross‑training, and performance feedback.
  • Collaborate with Supply Chain and Program teams to ensure material availability, resolve shortages, and escalate constraints through established tiered processes.
  • Maintain accurate and compliant records and documentation for shipping, receiving, and inventory management.
  • Support audits, inventory validations, safety reviews, and site compliance activities.

Qualifications You Must Have

  • Typically requires a University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum eight (8) years prior relevant experience, or An Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum five (5) years' experience.
  • Experience with either Logistics, Warehousing, Operations Management, or Supply Chain.
  • Supervisory or managerial experience.
  • The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.

Qualifications We Prefer

  • Strong communication and relationship‑building skills across all levels of the organization.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage material accountability and inventory accuracy across multiple programs.
  • Experience with performance metrics, root cause analysis, and corrective action implementation.
  • Familiarity with logistics‑related regulatory requirements (DOT, OSHA, 49 CFR, IATA, DoD, ITAR).
  • Experience with MRP/ERP systems (SAP, PRISM, or similar).
  • Demonstrated success working in fast‑paced or high‑demand operational environments.
  • Strong organizational skills, time management, and ability to manage competing priorities.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government security clearance (U.S. citizenship required).

The salary range for this role is 107,500 USD - 204,500 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company’s performance.

This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
