Full-Time Total Compensation: Approximately $50,000–$60,000 annually, including salary and bonus potential

Schedule: Monday–Friday, with shifts between 7:00 AM and 5:00 PM

About the Role
We’re hiring a Logistics Coordinator to support transportation and distribution operations across a large national supply chain network. You’ll work with carriers, suppliers, manufacturing plants, and distribution centers to keep inbound and outbound shipments moving on schedule.
The position begins as a W-2 contract role paying $23/hour. Once the ramp-up period is complete, employees typically convert to full-time between 90 and 180 days. After conversion, expected total compensation is approximately $50,000–$60,000 annually, including salary and quarterly and annual bonus potential.
What You’ll Do
- Schedule inbound deliveries and outbound pickups
- Coordinate fleet pickups at vendor locations
- Communicate with carriers, suppliers, and internal teams
- Audit freight payments and help resolve billing issues
- Maintain transportation records and complete daily administrative tasks
- Track activity through purchasing, inventory, and transportation systems
- Support procurement, manufacturing, shipping, receiving, and distribution teams
- Provide professional phone and customer service support
What We’re Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, logistics, or a related field
- A supply chain or logistics concentration or minor will also be considered
- Working knowledge of logistics, transportation, or distribution operations
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Outlook
- Able to work onsite in Nashville
Preferred Experience
- Coordinating inbound or outbound transportation
- Working with freight payment or transportation management systems
- Using purchasing or inventory-tracking systems
- Communicating directly with carriers, vendors, or distribution centers
