Logistics Associate

Location: Portsmouth, NH

Pay Rate: $20/hr – $24/hr

Duration: 12-Month Contract (Potential for extension or FTE conversion)

Day shift - 12 hours rotating shift

Position Overview:

As a Logistics Associate, you will play a critical role in facilitating product shipping and distribution. You’ll work closely with management to optimize logistics systems, implement new strategic initiatives, and direct daily operations to ensure peak efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

Operations & Strategy: Assist management in purchasing, warehousing, distribution, and forecasting; help implement new logistics strategies.

Shipping & Receiving: Process orders, prepare packing lists, and package outgoing materials with high attention to detail.

Logistics Management: Manage shipping logistics to ensure the accuracy and timeliness of all incoming and outgoing orders.

Tracking & Coordination: Monitor shipment details, current locations, and ETAs to maintain maximum product service levels.

Efficiency Oversight: Ensure freight is processed efficiently to minimize delays and optimize the supply chain.

Requirements:

Experience: 1–2 years of professional experience in logistics or supply chain operations.

Operational Skills: Proven ability to manage complex shipping/receiving workflows and warehousing tasks.

Communication: Strong collaboration skills for working with management and cross-functional team members.

Adaptability: Ability to assist in directing daily operations while simultaneously supporting new system implementations.
