Job Overview:

Position Overview

Logistics Associates support inbound receiving operations by unloading/processing incoming shipments, completing Oracle receiving transactions, verifying counts and documentation, applying labels/tags, staging material for put-away, and escalating discrepancies or damage using established FANUC logistics controls.

Key Responsibilities (Essential Duties)

  • Dock & inbound intake: Assist with inbound dock activities including reviewing BOL/packing slips, unloading trucks, moving material to pre-staging/processing areas, and maintaining an organized dock area.
  • Damage identification & containment: Recognize shipment damage, document as required (e.g., note on BOL, photos, quarantine/hold), and escalate to lead/supervisor for disposition.
  • Domestic receiving transactions (Oracle): Perform domestic receiving entries including ASN/PO receiving, individual PO receiving (when applicable), and required fields for sub-inventory/location staging consistent with receiving instructions.
  • Physical verification: Open boxes and count/verify parts against ASN sheets, packing slips, BOLs, and/or PO documentation prior to completing Oracle transactions.
  • Label printing & tagging: Print inbound labels using ASN/receipt number or item number as required; apply labels/tags and stage material for the next process/put-away.
  • Quality/inspection queue support: When packaging/parts appear damaged or compromised, follow the suspect/inspection workflow (flag for inspection, tag appropriately, and place into designated inspection area).
  • Issue escalation (LIT): When discrepancies are found (missing/wrong/extra parts, receiving conflicts, etc.), escalate to the buyer/team lead and submit a Logistics Issue Tracking request per the LIT process.
  • Nonconformance controls (MIR): Create a Material Incident Report when parts do not meet quality standards (e.g., visible damage discovered during receiving, transfers, picking/auditing, or cycle counting) and support quarantine/transfer steps as required.
  • Safety & environmental handling: Identify hazardous material indicators and support SDS handling/escalation actions referenced in receiving instructions.
  • Support special receiving streams as assigned: May assist with cross-dock receiving/dropping for production orders, and/or inbound activities that require scanning, staging, and transaction discipline.

Required Qualifications

  • 6+ months of experience working with warehouse equipment- Reach Truck, Forklift, Pallet Jack etc.
  • Ability to follow standardized work instructions and complete transactional steps accurately (receiving, labeling, staging, documenting).
  • Comfortable performing physical verification (opening packages, counting parts, matching to documentation) before system transactions.
  • Basic computer proficiency and willingness to learn Oracle receiving screens and handheld/scanner workflows used for inbound receiving and labeling.
  • Strong attention to detail for identifying damage, discrepancies, and required escalation paths (inspection flagging, LIT, MIR).

Preferred Qualifications (Plus)

  • Experience with Oracle (desktop and/or Oracle Mobile) transactions, receiving, inventory, and label printing workflows.
  • Experience using Microsoft 365 (M365) tools for communication, documentation, and coordination. (Training will be provided.)
  • Prior exposure to warehouse equipment and scanning/labeling processes used in receiving and staging.
  • Familiarity with issue tracking/nonconformance processes (e.g., LIT submissions, MIR creation) in a logistics/warehouse environment.

Training Provided

Our client will provide on-the-job training on our receiving processes and systems, including Oracle receiving/label workflows, inspection/issue escalation paths, and standard documentation controls used in inbound logistics.
