Job Overview:

Locomotive Electrician. This full-time, position offers

a dynamic work environment with opportunities for growth and advancement within the company.

Core Responsibilities

 Maintain and repair locomotive electrical systems to ensure operational readiness

 Conduct FRA-compliant inspections and document findings

 Service mechanical and air brake systems as needed

 Implement locomotive modifications per technical directives

 Retrieve and analyze data from event recorders and camera systems

 Investigate incidents and derailments; recommend corrective actions

 Travel across the railway network to perform field repairs and assessments

 Complete required training programs promptly

 Prepare clear, written reports detailing actions and recommendations

 Work independently and collaboratively to support team objectives

 Adhere to all safety protocols and promote a safe work environment

 Ability to work autonomously with minimal supervision.

 Strong motivation and initiative.

 Willingness to travel and adapt to varying work locations and conditions.

Minimum Qualifications

 Possess a valid C class license and insurable driving record.

 Successfully pass pre-employment background check, physical examination, and drug screening.

 Demonstrate the ability to work safely and efficiently without direct supervision.

 Communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.

 Meet federal eligibility requirements for employment within the U.S. railroad industry.

 Exhibit initiative and self-motivation in daily tasks and responsibilities.

 Previous railroad experience preferred.

Work Schedule & Compensation

 Standard hours: Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM.

 Occasional evening and weekend work may be required.

 Compensation will be determined based on relevant experience, mechanical and

electrical knowledge.
