Perform the duties of a local CDL-A Truck Driver for all E&E Manufacturing produced parts. This position requires an experienced driver familiar with all DOT regulations and able to transport trailers safety between the production plant and off-site warehouse
**Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
**
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Additional job duties may be assigned. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required:
Ability to successfully and efficiently maneuver semi-trucks/ industrial trucks.
Ability to successfully drive a Hi-Lo/Forklift
Transport finished goods and raw materials to and from the manufacturing plant and off-site warehouse
Inspect vehicles and equipment for mechanical gaps or safety concerns, and perform some preventative maintenance activities
Plan driving routes and meet delivery schedules
Document and log driving time
Comply with truck driving rules and regulations (size, weight, route designations, parking, etc.) as well as with company policies and procedures
Maneuver trucks into loading and unloading positions safely
Collect and verify delivery instructions
Report defects, accidents, or violations for equipment, vehicles, and regular work processes
Complete other tasks assigned, including supporting other Shipping/Receiving forklift drivers in the plant and/or warehouse
