Description

Join our dynamic team as a Loader Operator, where you will play a vital role in supporting our concrete production operations through safe and efficient operation of heavy equipment. This position offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to a well-organized, safety-conscious work environment while ensuring smooth raw material handling and plant maintenance.


What You'll Do:

  • Safely operate front-end loaders and related heavy equipment to move raw materials and support production processes.
  • Manage raw material inventory by maintaining proper bin levels and ensuring timely material delivery.
  • Perform routine maintenance and inspections on equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety.
  • Maintain a clean, organized yard and plant area to promote safety and operational efficiency.
  • Assist with general plant maintenance and upkeep tasks as needed.
  • Ensure compliance with all safety regulations, environmental standards, and company policies.
  • Contribute to a positive, team-oriented culture by upholding the company’s core values and safety standards.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Prior experience operating a front-end loader or similar heavy equipment, preferably in a concrete, aggregate, or construction environment.
  • Working knowledge of safe equipment operation and basic maintenance procedures.
  • Ability to read and interpret equipment service and repair manuals.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety and quality.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with supervisors, team members, and vendors.
  • Reliable, punctual, and capable of working in a fast-paced production environment.
  • Willingness to work outdoors in varying weather conditions and perform physical labor as required.

Physical Demands:

  • Ability to safely lift a minimum of 50 lbs.
  • Ability to climb, stoop, bend, squat, lift, stretch, push, pull, twist, kneel, stand, walk, sit, and reach. 
  • Ability to safely climb up and down stairs and/or ladders.
  • Ability to work primarily outside, with exposure to the extremes of hot or cold weather.
