We have an exciting opportunity for a LMS Administrator to join our Learning and Development team located in San Diego, CA.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Responsible for the administration and maintenance of the company's learning system technology to deliver online training to internal and/or external customers.
  • Assists with data migrations, working with IT and outside vendors to test and troubleshoot systems issues; supports development of processes, content generation and loading; maintains training and user profile records; coordinates calendaring and enrollment, tracking, assessments, reporting and customer communications for learning events.
  • In companies with training teams, may serve as a subject matter expert, training the community of business users to maximize the utilization of system features to create and manage learning events, training modules, assessments and reports.
  • Responsible for ensuring work is accomplished in a safe manner in accordance with established operating procedures and practices.
  • Other duties as assigned or required.

Job Qualifications

  • Typically requires a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration with an emphasis in Human Resources, Organizational Development or a related discipline and six or more years of progressive professional experience in a Human Resources department. May substitute a certificate in human resources from a recognized organization and/or equivalent experience in lieu of education.
  • Must have a comprehensive understanding of human resource principles, theories and concepts and a complete and thorough knowledge of practices, techniques, and standards.
  • Must be customer focused and possess:
    • the ability to identify issues and develop solutions to a variety of problems of diverse scope and complexity;
    • excellent analytical, verbal and written communication skills to accurately document, report, and present findings to a variety of audiences including senior management and senior external parties:
    • excellent interpersonal skills to influence and guide all levels of employees, including senior managers and senior external parties;
    • the ability to maintain the confidentiality of sensitive information;
    • the ability to initiate, plan, and manage projects; and excellent computer skills.
  • Ability to work independently or in a team environment is essential as is the ability to work extended hours and travel as required.
