Job Summary

The Line Labor team member is responsible for performing a variety of production tasks along the poultry processing line to ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality operations. This position supports the processing, inspection, packaging, and movement of poultry products while maintaining Tyson Foods' standards for food safety, product quality, and workplace safety. Team members must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and perform repetitive tasks throughout the shift.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Perform assigned production line duties in accordance with established procedures and production schedules.
  • Process, handle, trim, inspect, sort, package, or move poultry products as directed.
  • Monitor product quality and notify supervisors of any defects, contamination concerns, or equipment issues.
  • Maintain production rates and efficiency standards while ensuring quality requirements are met.
  • Follow all Tyson Foods policies regarding safety, food safety, animal welfare, and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs).
  • Keep workstations and surrounding areas clean, organized, and free of hazards.
  • Utilize required personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times.
  • Assist with line setup, product changeovers, sanitation activities, and other production-related duties as assigned.
  • Work collaboratively with team members and supervisors to support plant operations.
  • Perform additional duties as needed to support production goals.
