Position Summary

We are seeking a Bilingual Line Lead to oversee daily production activities on an assigned manufacturing line in a cosmetics manufacturing environment. The Line Lead will provide direction and support to production associates, ensure quality and productivity standards are met, and assist with the smooth operation of the production line. This position is based in a cosmetics manufacturing/production facility in Long Island City. The Line Lead must follow all company safety, quality, sanitation, and production procedures.

Bilingual English/Spanish required.

Location: Long Island City, NY

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 6am-2:30pm – or 2:30 PM–11:00 PM

Saturday: As needed

Compensation

$23 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and support production associates on the assigned line.
• Communicate daily production goals, instructions, and procedures to employees.
• Monitor production output, quality, and productivity.
• Ensure employees follow company policies, GMP, safety procedures, and quality standards.
• Assist with line setup, changeovers, and startup activities.
• Monitor cosmetic products and packaging for quality and accuracy.
• Train and provide guidance to new and existing employees.
• Communicate production issues, equipment concerns, and quality issues to supervisors.
• Complete production paperwork and documentation accurately.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Help troubleshoot production issues and minimize downtime.
• Support supervisors and management with daily production activities.

Qualifications

• Bilingual English/Spanish required.
• Previous experience in manufacturing, production, or a similar environment preferred.
• Previous Line Lead or leadership experience is a plus.
• Experience in cosmetics, beauty, pharmaceutical, food, or other regulated manufacturing environments preferred.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment.
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks.
• Reliable attendance and flexibility to work Saturdays as needed.
