Job Description:

SSR Mining’s Marigold Mine, located near Battle Mountain, Nevada, is looking for a Light Vehicle Supervisor to join our team! In production since 1989, Marigold is a large run-of-mine heap leach operation with several open pits, waste rock stockpiles, leach pads, a carbon absorption facility, and a carbon processing and gold refining facility. Key Areas of Responsibility & Duties:

Reporting to the General Supervisor the Light Vehicle Supervisor typically works a dayshift 4/3 schedule and is responsible for the following:

• Create and maintain a strong safety culture. Facilitate technician involvement in safety programs
• Directly supervise maintenance personnel
• Ensure that tasks assigned to the crew are conducted safely, efficiently, and meet quality specifications
• Coordinate equipment needs and priorities with Production Supervisors, maintenance planning and scheduling personnel, other maintenance supervisors, and superintendents
• Plan and resource urgent work as well as complete scheduled tasks
• Maintain detailed and accurate shift records
• Identify individual crew member’s training needs and coordinate training with maintenance trainer
• Advise mechanics with inspection and repair quality with intent to meet and exceed mean time to first failure after planned work goal

Required Experience:

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in mobile maintenance
• Prior supervisory or lead person experience required.
• Experience with tire program
• Prior experience managing tire maintenance
• Prior Maintenance experience with Light & Medium Duty vehicles
• Valid Driver License
• Open pit Maintenance experience - Preferred
• Mobile Maintenance planning and scheduling experience - Preferred
• Prior Maintenance experience with managing Ultra Class mining tire maintenance and budgeting - Preferred
