We are seeking a skilled and motivated Light Industrial MIG Welder/Fabricator to join our dynamic team in Columbia, SC, 29209. Responsibilities

Perform MIG welding on various metal components according to specifications.
Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and welding symbols.
Fabricate metal parts and assemblies using hand tools and power tools.
Inspect finished products for quality and adherence to specifications.
Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols.
Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and deadlines.
Assist in troubleshooting and resolving welding-related issues.
Participate in ongoing training and skill development as needed.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training in welding is a plus.
Proven experience as a MIG welder, preferably in a light industrial setting.
Strong understanding of welding techniques, materials, and safety practices.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical documents.
Excellent attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work.
Good communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Physical stamina and strength to perform welding tasks and lift materials as needed.
Welding certification is preferred but not required.
