Lift Truck Operator II Weekend shiftPosition Overview
To move and transport product to and from inventory locations, while maintaining the quality of the product, without causing harm, danger, or damage. Weekend shift Saturday and Sunday 6 AM to 4 PM.
Essential Duties:
Receiving a pull task with information on the product to be retrieved.
Transporting a pallet by forklift to and from locations.
Complete paperwork as required.
Wrap and band product prepared on pallets.
Prepare and package miscellaneous items in boxes for shipment.
Tape and repair any damaged packaging.
Attendance is an essential function of the job you must comply with the corporate absenteeism and tardiness policy.
Must adhere to our normal work schedule, i.e. starting and stopping times, and where applicable rotating days.
Must assist in keeping shipping/receiving areas clean.
Must be able to read, write and comprehend shipping documents, bin locations, and store orders.
Must be able to perform simple mathematics (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division).
Will train to operate all Product powered industrial equipment.
Will work with the rebuilding of pallets and in product rework (as required).
Train on breaking down and building of Product pallets.
Must be able to work necessary overtime including weekends.
Must be able to see small numbers and words as displayed on the computer screen
Non-Essential Duties:
Considering job knowledge, job environment, effort, manipulative skill, judgment, safety knowledge and responsibility:
Assist in other jobs and duties as needed.
Perform any duties you are OJT certified to do.
Helping to keep the work area clean.
Physical Requirements:
Must be able to sit on a Lift Truck for long periods of time.
Must be able to mount/dismount lift truck 80 to 90 times per shift.
Must be able to work in a warehouse environment.
Must be able to physically handle up to 50 pounds multiple times per shift.
Must be able to handle rough backing and latex-based products
Knowledge/Skills:
Must be able to read and write numbers.
Must be able to communicate clearly.
Must have general computer knowledge.
Must be able to write legibly.
Must be able to perform simple mathematics.
Must be able to use On Board Computer.
Safety/Training Requirements:
Must complete required SMS training.
Must adhere to all corporate and facility safety rules including use of proper PPE for specific job tasks.
