Description
We are seeking a skilled, self-motivated Licensed or Journeyman Electrician to support a high-tech printed circuit board manufacturing facility operating 24/7. This position plays a critical role in maintaining and improving the electrical systems that power advanced manufacturing equipment, cleanroom environments, and facility infrastructure.
This is not a “new construction only” role — we need someone comfortable troubleshooting live systems, working independently, and adapting to a wide variety of industrial tasks.
Requirements
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair:
- Industrial electrical distribution systems
- Motor controls, VFDs, and PLC-controlled equipment
- HVAC electrical systems
- UPS and backup power systems
- Production machinery power circuits
- Install and modify conduit, panels, and industrial wiring
- Diagnose electrical faults quickly to minimize downtime
- Support facility upgrades and equipment installations
- Work safely in:
- Manufacturing floors
- Mechanical rooms
- Cleanroom and controlled environments
- Outdoor facility areas
- Document work performed and assist with preventive maintenance programs
Qualifications
- Valid Licensed/ Journeyman Electrician
- Experience in industrial or manufacturing environments preferred
- Strong troubleshooting skills with minimal supervision
- Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and schematics
- Familiarity with:
- 480V systems
- Control panels and low voltage controls
- Motors and drives
- Comfortable working in varied physical environments
- Strong safety mindset and ability to follow lockout/tagout procedures
- Ensure work complies with National Electric Code (NEC)
