Position Summary
Seeking a Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) to support a plasma donation center. This role focuses on donor eligibility evaluation, medical screenings, test result review, and providing limited emergency care in accordance with SOPs and licensure.
Schedule: Tues-Sat, Tues-Fri; 8:30 AM TO 5 PM, Sat; 7:30 AM TO 4:00 PM.
Key Responsibilities
- Evaluate donor eligibility through medical history and physical exams
- Review test results and determine ongoing donor suitability
- Educate donors and obtain informed consent
- Manage donor reactions and provide emergency care as needed
- Administer medications within scope of practice
- Maintain accurate documentation and ensure regulatory compliance
- Counsel and refer donors with unsuitable results
- Maintain a clean, safe, and compliant work environment
- Deliver excellent customer service and support team operations
Qualifications
- Active LVN license (state required)
- Current CPR certification
- Graduate of an accredited LVN program
- Plasma center experience preferred
