APPRENTICE OR Licensed JOURNEYMAN Plumber (pay is based on experience)

$30-40/Hour + Commission | Company Vehicle |

What You'll Do

As a Licensed Journeyman Plumber, you'll perform a variety of residential plumbing service, repair, and installation work while ensuring every customer receives outstanding service.

Responsibilities Include:

Diagnose and repair residential plumbing systems
Perform emergency plumbing repairs quickly and efficiently
Install, repair, and replace:
Water heaters
Sump pumps and sewage ejector pumps
Toilets
Faucets
Sinks
Bathtubs
Water supply lines
Drain lines
Natural gas piping
Radiator valves and traps
Perform minor steam line repairs and rerouting
Maintain and repair storm and sewer piping
Test new and existing gas piping for leaks
Read and interpret plumbing and mechanical drawings
Order materials and supplies as needed
Assist in training and mentoring plumbing apprentices
Maintain accurate inventory and assist with cycle counts
Manage your daily schedule efficiently to maximize productivity
Deliver exceptional customer service on every job
Follow all company safety policies and industry regulations

What We're Looking ForRequired Qualifications

✔ ActiveIllinois Journeyman Plumber License

✔ Minimum5 years of Journeyman plumbing experience

✔ Valid driver's license with a clean driving record

✔ Experience with brazing and soldering

✔ Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills

✔ Excellent communication and customer service abilities

✔ Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

✔ Strong organizational and time management skills

✔ Ability to safely lift equipment and work in various residential environments
