Requirements

Education:

• Associate (A.S.) degree in Electronics Technology or a closely related field, or a combination of education and experience, including Skilled Trades programs or military training.
• Valid electrician’s license as required by state or local regulations.

Experience:

• Minimum of 4 years in automation, industrial maintenance, and industrial electrical work.
• Experience in electrical safety and lockout/tagout processes.
• Experience in troubleshooting and operating PLC systems and microprocessors.

Computer Skills:

• Competent in Windows-based software such as Microsoft Excel and Word.
• Strong skills in documentation organization and research techniques.
• Proficiency in SAP Maintenance (or willingness to become proficient).

Communication Skills:

• High level of verbal communication skills.
• Effective communication with all levels of team members, management, government officials, techs, and vendors.

Special Skills:

• Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Knowledge of AC/DC circuits, industrial electrical systems, electronic devices, and parts inventory.

Supervisory:

• None.

Travel:

• Minimum of 1-5 trips per year.
