Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Residential Journeyman Plumber to join our growing team in Winston-Salem, NC. The ideal candidate is a dependable, customer-focused professional with strong troubleshooting skills and experience performing residential plumbing installations, repairs, maintenance, and service. This position requires the ability to work independently while delivering high-quality workmanship and outstanding customer service.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, repair, and install residential plumbing systems.
• Service water heaters (tank and tankless), water lines, drain lines, sewer lines, fixtures, faucets, toilets, garbage disposals, and plumbing appliances.
• Perform drain cleaning and sewer diagnostics.
• Inspect plumbing systems and identify repair or replacement recommendations.
• Read blueprints, specifications, and plumbing diagrams when required.
• Ensure all work complies with North Carolina plumbing codes and local regulations.
• Accurately explain repair options and recommendations to homeowners.
• Complete service tickets, estimates, and documentation using a mobile device.
• Maintain company vehicle, tools, and inventory.
• Participate in an on-call rotation as needed.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and professional work environment.

Qualifications

• Active North Carolina Journeyman or Plumbing Technician license preferred, or ability to work under the appropriate company licensing requirements in accordance with North Carolina regulations.
• Minimum 3–5 years of residential plumbing experience.
• Strong knowledge of residential plumbing systems, installation techniques, and repair methods.
• Ability to troubleshoot plumbing issues efficiently.
• Experience servicing gas and electric water heaters.
• Ability to read and interpret plumbing codes and blueprints.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Valid North Carolina driver's license with a clean driving record.
