Understanding the differing priorities of these customer sets is essential for successful contract performance and for shaping future business opportunities. Decisions and actions taken on these programs will influence and impact multiple future contracts across the Lockheed Martin portfolio.
The Project Manager will establish the resources required for the team’s success, direct the work of assigned employees, and ensure clear communication of challenges and opportunities to the appropriate stakeholders. Responsibilities include program execution activities, leading proposal development and kickoff activities, supporting baseline reviews, and coordinating enterprise performance and quality reviews. The role also supports the capture of new contracts, requiring a strategic mindset and prior proposal experience.
In addition to managing existing efforts, the project manager will lead internal IRAD and capital projects across test. Successful candidates must be responsible to communicate all pertinent items including challenges and opportunities to the appropriate stakeholders to ensure mission success.
