Job Overview:

Summary/Objective: The Assembly Technician – Level 2 fulfills assembly tasks while following company guidelines, safety requirements, quality requirements, and production standards.

***Pay range for Level 2: $19-$22 per hour.

Essential Functions:

Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.

  • Read and follow traveler instructions

  • Properly use required tools efficiently and effectively. This includes installation, hand, pneumatic and electric tools.

  • Properly Setting depths to inserts to spec call out.

  • Properly use and read measuring instruments, Calipers, drop indicators, etc.

  • Measure and document production standards

  • Locate and mix correct compound needed for each job

  • Read Intermediate blueprint measurements

  • Document counts

  • Capable of doing pressure testing

  • Mark parts using ink, epoxy, electro-etch, vibro-peen efficiently and effectively

  • Complete discrepant tag information

  • Using both hydraulic and hand presses, set pins, lock rings, etc. correctly and effectively

  • Organize, clean, and maintain work area (Including putting things away throughout entire room)

  • Other responsibilities as deemed appropriate

  • Properly Setting depths of inserts to spec call out.

  • Identifying and mixing correct compound needed for each job

  • Read Advanced blueprint measurements

  • Document counts

  • Constantly submitting and thinking of new ideas for continuous improvements

  • Capable of performing pressure testing

  • Part marking: ink, epoxy, electro-etch, vibro-peen, laser efficiently and effectively

  • Complete discrepant tag information

  • Using both hydraulic and hand presses, setting pins, lock rings, etc. correctly and effectively

  • Organize, clean, and maintain work area (Including putting things away throughout entire room

  • Ability to communicate effectively with Engineering and Quality

  • Other responsibilities as deemed appropriate

Minimum Qualifications

  • 2 Years Assembly Experience

  • High school diploma / GED

    This is a full-time hourly non-exempt position.
