Work Arrangement:
This role is categorized as hybrid. This means the successful candidate is expected to report to a designated GM location three times per week, at minimum.
The Role:
As a part of GM's Human Resources Group you drive the training development, planning, execution/delivery, tracking and reporting. You will be developing training strategy, analyzing/interpreting data to identify areas for improvement, and ensuring successful implementation of high-impact learning solutions. You are a key contributor key business strategies to learning solutions ultimately leading to improved business results.
Major Responsibilities:
Your Skills & Abilities – Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Instructional Design or related field.
Must have 5 years of learning & development (L&D) roles within a software engineering work environment.
Proven experience in strategic planning, relationship building, and effective communication.
Experience in program management.
Experience developing training program strategy and ensuring tactical executions
Strategic Thinking: Ability to think strategically and align learning and development initiatives with broader business goals.
Interpersonal Skills: Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills, with a proven ability to establish trust and credibility.
Communication Proficiency: Strong verbal and written communication skills, capable of effectively articulating the value of learning initiatives to diverse audiences.
Program Management Proficiency: Ability to manage multiple programs with competing deadlines and maintain high levels of organization and thoroughness.
Analytical Skills: Competence in analyzing learning needs and measuring the impact of learning solutions on individual and organizational performance.
Adaptability: Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and manage multiple projects with competing deadlines.
What Will Give You A Competitive Edge:
Experience working with autonomous vehicle (AV) technology is of interest.

The compensation information is a good faith estimate only. It is based on what a successful applicant might be paid in accordance with applicable state laws. The actual base salary a successful candidate will be offered within this range will vary based on factors relevant to the position, as well as geography of the selected candidate.
• The salary range for this role is $98,900 - $158,000. The actual base salary a successful candidate will be offered within this range will vary based on factors relevant to the position.
• Bonus Potential: An incentive pay program offers payouts based on company performance, job level, and individual performance.
